New Display featuring Japanese Fan called "UCHIWA"
 

Now that summer season is just around the corner in Japan, The Japan Foundation, Bangkok, in cooperation with the SOAD, King Mongkut's University of Technology, Thonburi, gives a "summer look" to the display space at our library.

Closer look will give you much clearer imageā€¦

These are the Japanese traditional fans called 'UCHIWA,' common craftworks for Japanese people usually used during the summer time.

Display window just above the "return box" is also filled with UCHIWA

UCHIWA shown here are 'cool' not only because of a very ecological tool for cooling one's body, but of being designed by eminent designers from all around the world. Please be sure to come and see the fabulous UCHIWA!

*Duration of the Exhibition: Tuesday, June 30th till Monday, August 31st (tentative)
