Born 1931. Pursues cartoonist career after graduation from Law College of Pusan National University. Yi is a prominent cartoonist of Korea formerly with Hankook Ilbo and now with The Korea Times since 1993. He has held exhibitions at University of Hawaii (1997) and in Manhattan, New York (1998). A Member of National Cartoonists Society (USA) and a Member of Friendship of Japan Cartoonists Association. His hobbies are home carpentry and mountain climbing.
