2000 Haiku Contest Announcement

Japan Airlines and the Japan Foundation, Bangkok organize annually Haiku Contest with the aim to provide an opportunity for young elementary school children to express their inner minds in the form of poetic writing, using their keen observation and imagination to put together their thought towards themselves or towards the lives of plants and animals including the nature around them into delicate and fine Haiku verses which is the worldีs shortest verse form consisting of three lines with a total of 17 syllables of five, seven and five syllables per line respectively.

This year contest started from February on a nationwide scale contest under the theme าLives in Summerำ suported by the Office of the Primary Education Commission, the Office of Private Education Commission and the Education Department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. There were 431 schools and a total of 3786 entries participating in the contest among which 50 top poems have been selected since last April.

Three honourable judges are namely Khun Duangjai Ravipricha, a well-known contemporary poet, Khun Vanit Jarungkitanan, and Khun Chiranan Pitpreecha, SEA Write awardees.

The 50 winners will be presented an award of 1,000 baht along with a certificate and a memento.

ประกาศผลการประกวดบทกลอนไฮกุประจำปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๓

สายการบินเจแปนแอร์ไลน์และมูลนิธิญี่ปุ่น กรุงเทพฯ ร่วมกันจัดให้มีการประกวดบทกลอนไฮกุสำหรับนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาตอนปลายเป็นประจำทุกปี เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้เด็กไทยได้แสดงความสามารถในด้านการประพันธ์และการแสดงออกซึ่งจินตนาการ และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ตลอดจนปลูกฝังให้เยาวชนมีความละเอียดอ่อน ช่างสังเกตสิ่งแวดล้อมและธรรมชาติรอบ ๆ ตัว โดยกลั่นกรองและถ่ายทอดออกมาในรูปแบบของบทกลอนไฮกุ อันเป็นกลอนญี่ปุ่นที่นับว่าสั้นที่สุดในโลก บทหนึ่งมี ๑๗ พยางค์ แบ่งเป็น ๓ บรรทัด บรรทัดละ ๕ ๗ และ ๕ พยางค์ ตามลำดับ

ในปีนี้ เราเริ่มดำเนินการจัดการประกวดบทกลอนไฮกุภายใต้หัวข้อ ามุมหนึ่งในชีวิตำเมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ โดยจัดประกวดทั่วประเทศ ทั้งนี้โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการประถมศึกษาแห่งชาติ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาเอกชน และสำนักการศึกษา กรุงเทพมหานคร มีโรงเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาต่าง ๆ ทั่วประเทศจำนวน ๔๓๑แห่งให้ความสนใจส่งผลงานของนักเรียนเข้าร่วมประกวดถึง ๓,๗๘๖ บทกลอน คณะกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ได้ทำการพิจารณาคัดเลือกเมื่อเดือนเมษายนที่ผ่านมา ตัดสินผลงานดีเด่นจำนวน ๕๐ สำนวนให้ได้รับรางวัล

คณะกรรมการตัดสินในปีนี้ประกอบด้วย คุณดวงใจ รวิปรีชา นักกลอนมีชื่อร่วมสมัย คุณวาณิช จรุงกิจอนันต์ นักเขียนซีไรท์ และคุณจิระนันท์ พิตรปรีชา กวีซีไรท์

นักเรียนที่ได้รับรางวัล 50 ท่านจะได้รับรางวัลเป็นเงินจำนวนท่านละ 1,000 บาท พร้อมกับใบประกาศเกียรติคุณและของที่ระลึก
