HOSHINO Bunzo raises up his orphan grandson, Keiji whose right leg gets paralyzed when he was an infant. Bunzo loves Keiji so much that he does every thing to protect his grandson. SONODA Keiko, a new young teacher comes to the school when a new term starts. She wants Keiji to go back to school. After two years absence from school, Keiji tries to attend the class but he cannot continue. All pupils hold an exhibition of Keiji’s paintings in the village shrine to make him happy. He is very pleased and gives his paintings to them and to Keiko, he gives a painting entitled "Spring Pony". When this picture is awarded a prize in the National Friendship Painting Compettition, it is like a new beginning for Keiji’s family.

Adaptation from a famous manga of the same name, Touch. This is a teenage love story centered around the theme of sports, in this case the Japanese high school baseball competition, with the the goal of winning the tournament at Koshien Stadium. When Tatsuya's twin brother passes away, he decides to make his brother’s dream comes true by taking his school’s baseball team to Koshien.

A young widow, Tamiku , falls in love with Kosaku, a man who comes to work on her farm. He works very hard for her, but eventually he reveals that he killed a man who caused his wife’s suicide. He must serve a four-year prison sentence. Tamiko decides to start a new life and waits until Kosaku is released from prison so that they can be together.

The life of highschool student Satoka is complicated by her mother’s cancer and the fact that she and her father could never communicate well. In going through her mother’s things Satoka discovers a love letter written to Shinichiro, her mother’s first love. Satoka determines to fulfill her mother’s wish to see him again. She finds him but he is no longer the man her mother knew. Still, she persists and eventually grooms him back to something like his former self. At the long planned reunion – under the blossoming cherry tree, just as her mother had imagined – things do not turn out the way she expected them to.

Mugiko is a shy girl brought up in a remote country village, and she is unable to communicate with the people around her. One day,she is told that her mother used to dance very well. She tries to dance as her mother did in the school festival and finds true happiness for the first time in her life.

On clear days in the mountains, when the worst of winter is past, the wind whistles down through the last patches of powdery snow. Fluttering and swirling like cherry blossom petals, the snow dances gracefully on the wind before it melts away forever. In Japan, this harbinger of spring is called "kaza-hana."
